한나영 작가노트                                                                 

나의 작품은 조각 작품과 회화 작품 두 가지로 나누어 진다.

나의 조각 작품은 자연에 기반을 두고 결합과 호응을 형상화 하는데 초점을 맞췄고

미려한 선과 유기적인 형태를 시적 언어로 인간의 희로애락을 간결하게 형상화한 것이다.

다양한 재료에서 오는 조각의 느낌에 매료되었고 도조로부터 시작하여 대리석, 청동, 유리까지 재료의 다양성을 추구하였으며

2022년에는 알루미늄 부조작품을 시작하였다.

나의 회화 작품은 조각의 이미지를 평면화하는 작업으로, 조화롭고 간결한 조형 이미지가 우주의 파동과 리듬을 타고

생명의 근원인 미세에너지가 공존하도록 고민 하였고, 한편으로는 유희적이고 해학적인 느낌을 표현 하고자 하였다.

나는 직접 만든 세라믹, 청동, 응축 된 에너지를 갖고 있는 광물을 이용하여 한 점 한 점을 이어가며 금빛질감을 살리며

만든 작품의 질감은 그 누구도 시도 하지 않았던 새로운 회화재료를 개발한 것이기에 가치 있고 행복한 작업으로 느껴졌다.

창조를 위한 끝없는 도전과 새로운 소재에 대한 갈망은 나의 예술의 즐거움이고 나의 작품의 존립 근거라 하겠다.

Artist Nayoung Han’s Note

My work is divided into sculpture and painting.

My sculptures are based on nature and focus on embodying the combination and response.

They are a concise representation of human emotions such as joys and sorrows in poetic

language of beautiful lines and organic forms.

I was fascinated by the feeling of sculpture from various materials and pursued the diversity

of materials from pottery to marble, bronze, and glass.

In 2022, I started making aluminum relief works.

My paintings are to flatten the image of a sculpture. I contemplated ways to make

harmonious and concise formative images ride on the waves and rhythms of the universe

and coexist with micro energy, the source of life, while trying to express playful and humorous feelings.

Using ceramics, bronzes, and minerals with condensed energy I made myself, I connected

pieces one by one and created a golden texture. As the texture of such a work was the

development of a new material of painting that no one had ever tried, creating the work was

worthwhile and made me happy.

Endless challenges for creation and longing for new materials are the joy of my art and

the basis for the existence of my work.
